The Nov. 8 election felt like a referendum on reality. After all, it’s not exactly logical to ask people to vote for you, then repeatedly tell them you think our elections are rigged. So an overwhelming number of voters seemed to ask: “Why should I waste my vote on someone who doesn’t even believe in the process?”

As a Democrat, I’m happy with the results of the election. I’m relieved that Democrats maintained the Senate and won so many seats as governor and secretary of state — crucial posts of protecting both citizens and elections. It’s also reassuring that Democrats won so many other state and local races; candidates whose party believes in this country and its election process ought to be rewarded.

After reading this post several times, I am still looking for the referendum on reality. Where is this democracy she speaks of ? What country is she we referring to ? Our country, the United States of America is a Constitutional Republic with Elected Representatives. There’s some reality for you. If she had bothered to actually read the Constitution and the original Bill of Rights along with its succeeding modifications and amendments she might have noticed that nowhere in those documents can the word “democracy” be found. The reason for that is because the Founders knew then as any thinking person knows now, democracy is just another word for Mob Rule.

During this last election cycle the word “Democracy has been thrown around like cheap confetti all claiming that democracy is being threatened and if you don’t vote democrat your democracy will be lost. Please somebody/anybody explain to me how you can lose something you never had ?

The author of the above post goes on to exclaim that 50% of the voters are thinking clearly when they value a democracy they have never had and have voted for people that believe in it. Hmmm. She believes in the accomplishments the democrats have brought us in the last two years like the highest inflation in 40 years, record high gas prices, recession, open boarders and two million illegals, grocery shortages, violent crime, thousands of Fentanyl deaths and much more including a senile old fool who when left without a teleprompter can’t put enough actual words together to make a coherent sentence. And of course Republicans are all liars because they do actually believe in facts and reality.
